On Wednesday, December 12th, the Brother Martin Athletics Department hosted their fall signing ceremony in the Brother Mark Thornton Terrace. Next year, Hunter Appleton ‘19, Jake Bodino ‘19, Patrick Evans ‘19, Brady Faust ‘19, and Cameron Johnson ‘19 are ‘stepping up their game’ as they move on to the next level in academics and athletics. Athletic Director Mark Wisniewski ‘81 introduced the student-athletes before handing the microphone over to head cross country coach Drew Haro ‘03, head lacrosse coach Greg Anderson, head wrestling coach Robert Dauterive ‘84, and head baseball coach Jeff Lupo ‘92.
Hunter Appleton has committed to run cross country at the University of Colorado. Jake Bodino has committed to play lacrosse at the University of Montevallo. Patrick Evans has committed to wrestle at the University of Virginia. Brady Faust has committed to play baseball at the University of Southern Mississippi. Lastly, Cameron Johnson has committed to run cross country at Loyola University New Orleans. Brother Martin is incredibly proud of these leaders and the accomplished young men they have become.
Coach Wisniewski concluded the ceremony with a few words about their various accomplishments at Brother Martin, both on the field and in the classroom. Then, the young men enjoyed some celebratory cake at a social for the families, teammates, friends, and coaches of these young men.
