Students in Mr. Merritt’s Latin class shared their artistic talents and their interest in the ancient world by creating original artworks based on classical themes. The students constructed these amazing and sometimes, life-like artworks. They took simple materials and created a replica of the famous Circus Maximus and the Pillars of Hercules. Many of the students were inspired to create artworks of ancient architecture. Some students were even inspired to create replicas of armor and other objects of daily life. Through their research and creation of these projects, students learned more about world of the Ancient Romans and Greeks.
