The Crusader Baseball Teams, Coaches, Parents, Alumni, and friends gathered in the Branton Chapel to begin the day with a Mass celebrated by Fr. Billy O'Riordan of St. Ann Parish. After Mass, the celebration continued on E.A. Farley Field for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing of the Brother Martin Baseball Training Facility. Director of Athletics Mark Wisniewski ’81 was the emcee for the event. He thanked Alumni, Parents, Friends, and all Benefactors who have made this facility a reality. Principal Ryan Gallagher ’00, Former Athletic Director and Former Head Baseball Coach Barry Hebert ’74, Head Baseball Coach Jeff Lupo ’92, and the Varsity Baseball Team held the ribbon for School President Greg Rando ’77 to cut to officially open the facility. Fr. Billy O'Riordan and Deacon Kevin Darrah, Sr. (father of Ryan ’25) blessed the building. Afterwards, the Crusader Baseball Community gathered behind home plate for a reception. Thank you to the Crusader Baseball Dads for preparing the food. The day ended with Baseball Alumni participating in a softball game.
