During the month of November, NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune had a contest among the top sixteen marching bands in the New Orleans-area that were nominated by fans.
Each Sunday and Wednesday, two bands went head-to-head, giving fans a chance to watch highlights of each band and then vote on the best or favorite between the two.
