Complicating the Simple Things

IMG_4300Using a combination of the simple machines that make life easier, Crusaders in Coach Franks’ Physical Science classes constructed Rube Goldberg projects.  In class, they recently studied simple machines and have incorporated these concepts into real life situations. Students were required to use three of the six simple machines as components of the project and complete a simple task.  Some objectives included turning off lights, popping balloons, firing Nerf guns, and exploding confetti poppers.
