Thursday, students and faculty on this years college run enjoyed cooler weather while visiting Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC and Elon University in Elon, NC. Belmont Abbey College is a Catholic University founded by the Benedictines in 1876 with over 1,600 students enrolled. Elon University has an enrollment of 5,916 students and was founded in 1889.
