"He saw... He was moved to compassion... He acted."
Members of the Class of 2021 came together for the 2021 Brother Martin Graduation Mass. This solemn event took place at St. Joseph Church on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Brother Martin Chaplain, Fr. Paul Hart ’70 was the Celebrant for this special occasion for the Class of 2021.
President Greg Rando '77 provided a reflection for our seniors. He noted "If there is anything we most want you to carry from your years on Elysian Fields, it is God’s love that we hoped you received from your parents, your teachers, your coaches, and your classmates. It is God’s love that will transform all your future relationships."
Mr. Rando concluded "Gentlemen, the diploma you will receive this week is an external, tangible something you can hold that will serve a specific purpose in making the transition to college. What we hope you leave Brother Martin with is something no one can touch—a renewed spirit, a strong conscience, a loving heart. Members of the Class of 2021, we charge you with the same challenge of Brother Martin Hernandez all those years ago: be the men who go out and make a difference and who face challenges and joys with 'courage and trust.' Know emphatically that God loves you and with Him as your champion, you will undoubtedly make this world a better place."
We look forward to celebrating our Class of 2021 at their Graduation Ceremony this Friday, May 21, 2021!
