On November 18, as seniors are in the middle of their fall lessons and events, they took time to celebrate the Class of 2020 Grandparents Day. As they approach Thanksgiving, our Crusaders give thanks for the many blessings and opportunities that are shared with them. Senior Grandparents Day is a day that is cherished by our seniors, and it gives them one more opportunity to show their gratitude for their grandparents.
Seniors’ grandparents visited campus to spend time with their grandsons and were treated to lunch as well as coffee provided by Food Services in the newly renovated Benson Mall during their grandsons’ unstructured periods. While eating lunch, grandparents were able meet their grandsons' classmates, members of the administration, and fellow grandparents.
Following lunch, grandparents were also able to take pictures with their grandson(s) during their visit (provided by Ralph Romaguera, Jr. '90 of Romaguera Photography), and they were able to visit the campus as well as our beautiful James B. Branton Chapel.
Here at Brother Martin, we are thankful for our grandparents and hope they will be part of our Grandparent Experience during their grandsons’ time on Elysian Fields Avenue! Thank you to our 12th grade grandparents for visiting Brother Martin!
Save the Date for our 11th Grade Grandparents Day on Monday, December 9th!
