CityBusiness: “Brother Martin batting facility completed in time for 2024 spring season”

The following information is derived from New Orleans CityBusiness:

The Brother Martin High School Baseball Batting Facility is a covered facility, enabling baseball players to practice and train beyond daylight hours and during inclement weather. The facility features 3,800 square feet and three 70-foot-long pitching and batting lanes. The lanes were also designed to be subdivided into six shorter lane conditions.

“Brother Martin High School is committed to excellence in every facet of our school. Part of that commitment involves ensuring that our campus and our facilities are state-of-the-art and designed to meet the needs of our students and the world around us,” said Ryan J. Gallagher, principal and class of 2000. “The construction of the Crusader Baseball facility is an example of the vibrancy of our entire school community and our commitment to our holistic approach to excellence. We are dedicated to putting our students in the best possible position to be successful in whatever they do.
