Recently, junior Alex Lucas and seniors Joseph Arrigo and Aaron Didier were selected to the Louisiana American Choral Directors Association Men’s All-State Choir. This past weekend, in conjunction with the LA ACDA Conference, these Chorus members participated in a weekend of intensive rehearsals and presented a concert yesterday at First Baptist Church of New Orleans under the direction of Dr. Ryan Beeken. Dr. Beeken is the Director of Choral Studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Choral Director Mr. Kevin Caparotta ’88 served as the accompanist for the Women’s All-State Choir, which was directed by British composer and conductor Bob Chilcott.
