The Brother Martin cheerleaders traveled over the marsh and through the rain to compete in the UCA Dixie Regional Cheer Competition in Jackson, MS this past Saturday. The effort was well worth it, as the Crusaders captured first place and received a high score that qualified them to compete in the UCA National Cheer Championships in Orlando, FL in February.
Head coach Jessica Fresina and assistant coach Wesley Smith had their hands full, as three cheerleaders are also varsity football players. With our football team going so far into playoffs, these three cheerleaders were challenged to switch gears rapidly, which they did!
Congratulations to our #1 Crusader cheerleaders for their dedication and hard work which resulted in a routine that was spectacular! Rah Rah!!
