Celebrating Brother Jean Sobert, S.C.

Thursday, October 4th and Friday, October 5th, the Crusader community gathered to rejoice and celebrate the life of the late Brother Jean Sobert, S.C. with a prayer service and Memorial Mass.  Alumni, former faculty members, and friends shared their favorite memories of Brother Jean and stories from their days with him throughout his career at Brother Martin.  A Memorial Mass was said by Brother Louis Couvillon, S.C. and Father Paul Hart ’70.  Final remarks on Brother Jean’s life were given by colleague and friend, Brother Ivy LeBlanc, S.C.

Brother Jean was part of Brother Martin High School since its inception in 1969 and for many; he was the heart of Brother Martin.  Starting with his first position as Guidance Counselor to his final days at Brother Martin as Development Director, the focus of his life was making each Crusader student feel loved and special.  His spirit will live in the hearts of the Brother Martin community forever.
