We are currently monitoring the situation with Hurricane Sally. As of now, we plan to have school fully remotely tomorrow, Monday, September 14, 2020. Neither cohort will be on campus for in-person learning, but both cohorts will be expected to participate in remote learning. This will give our faculty the opportunity to communicate assignments to students in both cohorts for multiple days. We have made this decision out of an abundance of caution, knowing that we have the capability of moving seamlessly to remote learning and instruction and because some families have chosen or been forced to evacuate or will need to use Monday to prepare for Sally’s landfall.
There will also be no in-person classes on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Since there is the possibility of power outages, there will be no remote instruction on Tuesday, but students should continue to work on assignments from Monday if possible. We will communicate our plans for Wednesday through the School Messenger outlets when we are able to make that decision.
