Congratulations to the following Chorus members who were selected to the Louisiana ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) Youth Mixed All-State Honor Choir: Kolbe Peters ‘23 and Joseph Petras ‘23. For the audition, the applicants submitted a recording of their respective audition songs to be scored by a panel of judges. Their recordings were judged against recordings received from across the state. In early November, they will participate in rehearsals and concert performances with the LA ACDA Youth Mixed All-State Choir (under the direction of Dr. Shannon Jeffreys from Georgia Southern University). The performance will coincide with the 2019 Louisiana ACDA Fall Vocal Conference in New Orleans.
