In celebration of this year’s annual Catholic Schools Week, the Brother Martin school community gathered in prayer for a school-wide liturgy. Joining as our Celebrant for Mass was Fr. Paul Hart ‘70, Brother Martin Chaplain. The liturgical theme was “Learn, Lead, and Serve.”
Jarrod Lowe ‘20 introduced the liturgical theme before Mass began. He explained how all three themes -- Learn, Lead, and Serve -- are clearly seen in Brother Martin’s tradition and service. Flowing from the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Brothers along with their partners in mission continue to promote the values to learn, lead, and serve in schools throughout the province and the world.
To conclude the Liturgy, Principal Ryan Gallagher ‘00 announced the 2019-2020 Bro. More Schaefer Award Recipient. Congratulations to this year’s outstanding faculty member, math teacher, and 8th-grade baseball coach, Mr. Matt Lambert ‘98. Click here to read more about Mr. Lambert’s award.
Many thanks to all who made the Liturgy special: the Crusader Band, the Brother Martin Chorus, the Student Ministers, the Campus Ministry Team and the Religion Department.
