Librarians We Have Known

Below is an article on legendary St. Aloysius librarian Brother Frederick, S.C., in the September 1951 Aloysian. He joined the faculty on Esplanade Avenue for the 1937-8 school year and served until the school closed in 1969.

The last librarian at Cor Jesu (1968-9) was Brother Will McCue.

The first librarian at Brother Martin was Brother Colin Udinsky, who had run the library at Cor Jesu in the late 1950s. For several years, Brother Colin was assisted by Sister Eileen Gordon, C.S.J.

Gabrielle and Kieren moved the library into the digital age until Gabrielle became Assistant Principal for Admissions in 2002. Kieren became head librarian with assistance from Cyndi Bellina and Carolyn Mooney, Gabrielle's mother. That trio continues in place today.
