On Monday, the Bishop Guertin High School Band and Choral programs visited Brother Martin High School to perform for members of the Crusader Band in the Bro. Mark Thornton Terrace. Bishop Guertin is a Brothers of the Sacred Heart school in Nashua, New Hampshire. Members of their Band and Choral programs traveled during their school break to visit the campus and share their passion for performing musical arrangements.
Highlights from the performance were Tin Pan Alley songs “I’ll Be Seeing You In All The Old Familiar Places,” “Georgia On My Mind,” and “Heart and Soul” by the Chorus. The Jazz Band with a featured singer performed “Feeling Good,” a lá Michael Buble! The Concert Band also played a hard-hitting arrangement of “Danzon No. 2” by Arturo Marquez!
Thank you to Mr. Brian Starck (Band), Ms. Holly Krafka (Choral) and students for their amazing performance!
