“And they’re off!” On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Director of Alumni Scott Corrente ’83, committee members and over 176 alumni gathered together with family and friends for the Brother Martin “Day at the Races” at the New Orleans Fair Grounds Race Course. Guests dined in the Black Gold Room which featured an assorted New Orleans cuisine of corned beef and cabbage, blackened shrimp, Tortellini, and chicken. Hoping to be lucky winners for the day, guests watched their favorite jockeys and horses on the race course from the private event balcony.
Congratulations to the lucky winners of the 50/50 raffle, the door prize drawings, and the “Winners Circle” raffle. The winners of the “Winner Circle” raffle participated in a Race Trophy Presentation. Thank you to Sal Brocato ’88 who emceed the event.
