A ‘Spooktacular’ Morning Pep Rally!

A ‘Spooktacular’ Morning Pep Rally!

On Friday the 13th, the ‘Saders overcame their fears and gathered in the Conlin Gym for a ‘spooktacular’ morning pep rally! The Student Council led a faculty vs. student basketball game where the faculty reigned victorious. However, after review, the faculty team was disqualified, making the student team the winner! Head Coach Ryan Gallagher ‘00 introduced his senior Cross Country runners, and Coach Mark Bordelon introduced the senior members of the Crusader swim team. Head Football Coach Mark Bonis introduced the 1-0 Crusader football team and got the students fired up as he encouraged everyone to come support the Crusader football team to victory. A skit by the Student Council, a performance by the Dominican Debs, and a special visit from the Crusader Spirit ignited the excitement amongst the students.

The morning ended with a costume contest and the singing of the Crusader Fight Song led by the members of the Little Brothers/Big Brothers Club and the Crusader mascot.

Come cheer on the Crusader Football team Friday vs. the John Ehret Patriots @ Hoss Memtsas Stadium. Kick-off is set for 7:00pm. Pre-sale tickets to the game can be purchased in the Bookstore for $6 & $8 at the gate.
