While the Easter Egg Hunt was taking place, the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall was overflowing with Brother Martin family and friends for the Annual Friday Night Lenten Fish Fry. Hosted and organized by our Brother Martin’s Parent’s Club, there were over 700 dinners served with delicious fried fish, shrimp and 650 lbs. of hot boiled crawfish. The Culinary Crusaders even provided some sweet treats for the guests to purchase and enjoy.

To continue the entertainment for the evening, our Crusader Jazz Band performed in the Benson Mall for all to enjoy. In the Auditorium, the Dionysians performed a variety show: ‘Music for the Missions’ raising money for our Lenten Mission Drive for the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Missions.

The evening was a wonderful turnout for our Brother Martin community! Our school community is so thankful for the hardworking volunteers that make the Fish Fry and Easter Egg hunt such a success!

A special thanks to our volunteers assisting with the Easter Egg Hunt: Donna Blanchard, Erin Caruso, Valerie and Lazaro Griego, Tina LaBeaud, The McCaskell Family, Janel Quitzau, Paula & Paul Trentacosta, Cissy Yakelis, Julia Gandolfi, Deborah Broussard, Alex Becnel ’08, and the Brother Martin Ambassadors.

One more special thanks to our Parents Club for assisting with the cooking and serving of food and helping with the event registration. What a great night for Brother Martin!
