Recently, members of the Key Club and Builder’s Club participated in races around the GNO area! Last week, the clubs hosted a water station at the Rock ‘n‘ Roll Marathon Series. In addition, Key Club participated in a district-wide fundraiser for Project Eliminate. This initiative protects the lives of babies and mothers all over the globe and aims to help put an end to this cruel, centuries-old disease. The Project Eliminate Run is one fundraiser in the district that works towards a $107 million contribution of Kiwanis International. So far, neonatal tetanus has been eliminated in 10 countries and have 21 more countries to go.
Congratulations to Blake Hera ’17, Ian Johnson ’17, Paul Marin ’18, and Andrew Heller ’16 for placing in the top 10 of the race in February at Audubon Park!
