This past weekend, student leaders from all grade levels and their parents gathered at school for a Leadership Celebration. In the Brother Mark Thornton Terrace, families were invited for the reception portion of this year’s event enjoying food and drinks. At the conclusion of the receptions, the crowd moved to the Benson Mall for the presentation of leadership and participation certificates and special awards. Each invited student had his list of accomplishments and activities read as he approached the stage for a certificate by Mr. Thomas Mavor, Vice Principal for Academics. Other special awards were read and presented by Mr. Carlos Bogran ’99, Assistant Principal for Admissions. Mr. Justin Fleetwood, Assistant Principal for Discipline & Attendance, introduced the Crimson Shield winners, those seniors whom the faculty voted as best displaying a specific named quality. Mrs. Gabrielle Macaluso, Assistant Principal for Student Services, announced the Golden Crusaders. These seniors are judged by the faculty as those who best exemplify the school’s holistic education.
