Members of the Crusader Chorus performed their annual Christmas Concert this week in the James B. Branton Chapel on the school campus. Over 60 male voices joined together in a variety of songs from a variety of cultures, including a “Medieval Kyrie,” the Appalachian traditional “Jesus, Jesus, Rest Your Head,” the French carol “Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella!” and the English sea shanty “Haul Away, Joe.” Twelve members of the Alumni Chorus, graduates ranging from the class of 2000 to the class of 2014, performed the Catalonian carol “Fum, Fum, Fum” and “We Need a Little Christmas.” All the male singers–current Crusaders and alumni members–joined together for the rousing college song “Vive L’Amour” and the school hymn “O Sacred Heart.”
