Tuesday afternoon, the Crusader mascot received a visit from alumni Chris Jays ’08 and Josh Vairin ’09 to get some training tips. Jays and Vairin are from LSU where they work closely with Mike the Tiger during sporting events. The group discussed tips on being funny, crowd interaction and creating a memorable persona during events. The Crusader worked on developing a more unique walk and techniques for getting the crowd involved during pep rallies and sporting events. Come out to Brother Martin sporting events next year and see the new ways the Crusader will get the crowd pumped up!
