Do you love being on the water? If so, sailing on Lake Pontchartrain every Wednesday afternoon is the place to be. Whether a beginner or an experienced sailor, come after school to the Southern Yacht Club and join in on the challenge!
Learn to rig a 420 sailboat, be a skipper or a crew member, learn to read the wind and make tactical maneuvers while having some great fun every Wednesday afternoon!
As a member of the Interscholastic Sailing Association (Southeast Region) we compete in several ISSA sponsored regattas each year, both locally and out of state.
