NJROTC Academic and Athletic Teams

The NJROTC Academic Team and the NJROTC Athletic Team compete nationally against other NJROTC cadet units.

Membership is limited to NJROTC cadets.

(An extracurricular letter may be earned.)

NJROTC Color Guard

The NJROTC Color Guard competes in drill meets with the NJROTC Drill Team. This group is also called on to present both the National and Brother Martin Colors at various school and civic events.

Membership is limited to NJROTC cadets.

NJROTC Drill Team

The NJROTC Drill Team helps students achieve military precision and coordination in marching and rifle maneuvers. Two teams compete at area meets in armed and unarmed drill. They are also invited to participate in a variety of civic and patriotic activities, parades, and exhibitions.

Membership is limited to NJROTC cadets.

NJROTC Rifle Team

The NJROTC Rifle Team competes in postal matches against other units across the nation every three to four weeks. Cadets learn safe handling of firearms and increase their proficiency in marksmanship.

Membership is limited to NJROTC cadets.

NJROTC Orienteering Team

The NJROTC Rifle Orienteering Team competes in meets around the country that requires basic knowledge of the use of maps and a compass. The cadets learn survival skills with the knowledge they gain from competing in these events.

Membership is limited to NJROTC cadets.
