What are the Academic Games?
The
Academic Games are a set of individual and team competitions in both logic and reading games. The Brother Martin Academic Games teams play the mathematical games of
Equations and
On-Sets, the language arts game of
Propaganda, and the social studies game of
Presidents.
What do we do?
We compete against schools from all over the greater New Orleans metro area. Students who place well at the local competitions can represent Brother Martin at the annual National Tournament held in the spring
Who can play?
Academic Games is an extracurricular for students in all grade levels who like to learn new ideas or like to “out think” their friends.
When are practices?
We practice every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:10 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in room 119. If you would like to know more about the team, then see Mr. Zeller.
