The Celebration of the Crest – Extravaganza 2014

The 2014 Celebration of the Crest – Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Marriott Hotel on Canal Street. The Patron Party will be from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in Preservation Hall, with the Auction from 7:30 p.m. – 12 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom. The evening will consist of a dinner-buffet, cocktails, dancing, silent and verbal auctions, raffles, and much more. The Brother Martin Jazz Band will provide entertainment during the Patron Party and The Bench Warmers will provide the music for the Auction.

In conjunction with the Auction, the Parents Club is holding the “Dream Vacation Raffle”. All proceeds are dedicated to the event. Raffle tickets are $50 each and the winner will get their choice of a trip to one of these destinations: Hawaii, Alaska, New York, Vancouver, Orlando, the Caribbean, Key West, the Kentucky Derby, the Masters, plus many others. The drawing will take place during the Auction and the winner need not be present. Tickets are currently on sale and may be purchased by downloading the flyer, completing the attached form, and returning it by mail.

A “Parade of Prizes” will include hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates, tickets to athletic events, and many other items. Tickets are purchased and put into a basket in front of an item for a chance to win that item. You may spread your tickets over a number of items or put all of them in one item to increase your chances of winning that particular prize.

Back by popular demand is the “Sader Spirit Surprise” raffle. Take chances on winning this mystery box. What’s inside? Only the Spirit knows! The secret prize will be revealed when the “Sader Spirit Surprise” is opened on the night of the Auction and the winner does not need to be present. Tickets will be sold for $20 each or 3 for $50.

Tickets to the Auction are $85 per person if purchased by Monday, November 10th, or $95 at the door. Tickets for the Extravaganza, which includes the Patron Party and the Auction, are $150 each. The proceeds from this event will help us to continue providing quality education for our young men in the tradition of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. It is our hope that you will be able to join us for a fun-filled and entertaining evening that benefits Brother Martin and its students.
