The Crusader baseball team (15-4) defeated the Jesuit Blue Jays (17-7) at Kirsch-Rooney with a score of 2-1 on Tuesday night. Pitcher Blair Frederick was key in the game pitching seven innings. He delivered the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning giving a win for Brother Martin over Jesuit. “Once we got back even, I knew that if I did my job, they would do my job behind me and find a way to score,” Frederick said in an interview on SportsNOLA.com.
