At the start of school Friday, the Crusader Student Council welcomed the student body for a morning pep rally featuring Coach Bonis and the football team and Coach Gallagher and cross country team members. Also being highlighted were the senior cheerleaders and the senior band members. To get the crowd excited there was a paper airplane contest, a favorable score prediction from the Crusader Spirit, and Dr. Tucker preaching about being ONE at this weekends events. A surprise Gangnam Style dance competition featuring seniors Jordan Lumpkins, Daniel Albrecht, and PSY himself got the crowd on their feet! The Crusader Band closed out the event with the Fight Song and the Drumline kept the beat going as students exited the stands.
The Crusaders take on the Rummel Raiders tomorrow at Tad Gormley Stadium. Kick-off is set for 3:30 pm. Come out and cheer the Crusaders to victory!
