The Crusader Beach Volleyball club continued its winning streak by defeating the defending league champion Jesuit Blue Jays in the second match of the season.

In the opening match, Nick Bonura and Nolan Bourgeois picked up the first win for the Crusaders 21-14, 17-21, 15-13 on some key serves late in the match.

No. 1 pair Vinny Giovingo and Nathan Levandoske posted a win in a two-setter defeating the Jays 21-12, 21-13 to give Brother Martin the 2-0 match lead.

In the final match, Brandon Bonura and Ryan Templet collected the team’s final win and completed the sweep with a 21-15, 21-17 straight-set victory.
