Bruce-Jordan Swilling '17 to Serve Country on the Gridiron

img_4904Bruce Jordan-Swilling, a senior running back from Brother Martin, will serve his country by participating in the U.S. Army All-American Game presented by American Family Insurance. A formal jersey presentation took place on Friday, October 14, 2016 in the Conlin Gymnasium with representatives such including Staff Sergeant Rodriguez, Staff Sergeant Woodworth, Ms. Yolanda Wade (Sergeant Major; Army Reserve), Garret Becker, Derek Kovach, and Ms. Sara Shores from the U.S. Army All- American Bowl Selection Tour.
Representatives from the tour also honored coach Mark Bonis and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Swilling for their dedication and support of Bruce. Brother Martin faculty, staff, and students were also in attendance to help Bruce celebrate this honor of playing in the bowl game.

Bruce will participate in the game on Saturday, January 7, 2016 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas- Military City, U.S.A. The Army Bowl will also be televised live by NBC at noon CT. Congratulations, Bruce!
