On Saturday, March 17, the NJROTC competed in the Area 8 Regional Championship (Super Meet) at Southern University in Baton Rouge. There they went up against the top tier NJROTC units from around the Southeastern United States. The Crusader Armed, Unarmed, and Color Guard Drill Teams, as well as the Academic and Athletic Teams, all competed in the meet. Overall the Crusaders placed 5th in the area with the Academic Team earning 1st place overall and setting a record with a score of 1077 points.
