High school swimming is a fall sport lasting from August to mid- November. Some team members continue training with their year- round club teams located throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Practices are in the mornings before school allowing the athlete the ability to participate in other after-school activities if he chooses to do so. The team is coached by Kevin Rich (’96), a member of the 1994-95 and the 1995-96 state-runner up teams and Patrick Daigle (’00), a high school 5A state champion in the 50 free and a former college swimmer for Louisiana State University.
