Atlanta Chapter
Gary Froeba '71, the Vice-President and Area Manager for Omni Hotels and our 1996 Alumnus of the Year, hosted a cocktail party at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center. Over 50 attendees enjoyed great food, met and caught up with fellow alumni and were updated on campus activity by Development Director Tommy Mitchell '79. Thad Slaton '87 assisted with the event.

Austin Chapter
John Devlin has visited Ryan O’Keefe ’94 to discuss an event in Austin in the spring. Please join us as we celebrate the formation of this new chapter at the Downtown - 3rd Base Sports Bar and Grill on January 8 at 6pm. My hope is that we can get as many as possible to attend this first event, and start a planning committee to help map out future events for the chapter.

Baton Rouge Chapter
Dr. & Dr. James Lalonde ’90 will host the second annual Holiday Cocktail Party in December. The 3rd annual fall social was held August 23 at Mike Anderson’s Side Porch.

Charlotte Chapter
Chapter members attended the Saints vs. Panthers game in Charlotte on October 19th. Chapter members, John Devlin, Barry Hebert ’74 and head basketball coach Scott Thompson attended the Charlotte Bobcat game on Sunday, November 9th. The group celebrated D.J. Augustin’s ’06 birthday with his family after the game.

Michael Villa '96 and his law firm of Meadows, Collier, Reed, Cousins & Blau, LLC sponsored a party at Dodie's New Orleans Cafe'. Nearly 40 attendees enjoyed New Orleans style food and visited with fellow alumni. Jeff Chauvin '00 assisted with the event. Kevin Poirrier ’94 and Eugene Poirrier ’71 hosted a Saints “view-in” at the WOW Wingery in November and he hosted a social at the WOW Wingery in August. Mr. John Devlin and Kenny Spellman ’84 updated the group on campus activity.

John Devlin traveled to South Carolina for an authentic New Orleans Crawfish Boil at the home of Cindy & Joey Broussard ‘84. Chapter members attended the Saints vs. Panthers game in Charlotte on October 19th.

South Central Mississippi Chapter
Dr. Todd Sitzman ‘82 hosted a chapter planning party at The Bottling Company. Todd, Jim Coll ’91, Rick Pecunia ’77 and John Marcev ‘82 discussed the future of the chapter.

South Florida Chapter
The South Florida Chapter held its inaugural event. Dave Wilson '84 hosted and sponsored a dinner at Manny's Steakhouse in Miami. 2007 Alumnus of the Year, Bill Engel SA '66 and other alumni from the area were treated to a six course feast followed by cigars and drinks at the outdoor bar. Chapter members are already planning a future event. Bill Engel SA '66, Dave Wilson '84, Mark Danna '84 and Todd Clower ’00 serve on the chapter committee.

Tampa Chapter
Troy Manthey ’84 is planning a cruise for the chapter. The Tampa Alumni Chapter held a party in a suite at a Tampa Bay Ray’s baseball game in May. It was 70's night with a concert by the Commodores after the game. The party was hosted by Robert Bennett '79. Development Director Tommy Mitchell '79 was on hand to update the group on campus activity and plans for the new Chapel.
