Dave Glaviano is a Certified Public Accountant and is the Tax Director for Coleman Family Enterprises and International-Matex Tank Terminals in New Orleans. He received a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University and was on the Dean’s List and a member of Pi Tau Pi and Beta Alpha Psi honorary fraternities.
He serves and has served on many professional and civic boards and organizations including the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants, Crimestoppers, Inc., Tax Executives Institute, Inc., Tulane Law School Tax Institute, and the Kenner Recreation Department as coach and volunteer. David is a member of the Contessa Entellina Society.
At Brother Martin High School he currently serves on the St. Aloysius Century Foundation Board of Directors and has been on the board since 2000. His work with the Parents’ Drive has been extraordinary throughout the years and he currently serves as a special advisor to the drive. He is a past chairman and has worked on the Parents’ Drive since 1993. He was the first alumnus to chair the drive. David is a co-founder of the Class of ’73 Culinary Squad, a group of volunteers who donate food and cook for alumni events. He has co-chaired his class reunions, he is a past member of the Parents Club Board, a graduate of the class of 1973, the first Brother Martin 4-year graduating class, and he has three brothers who are alumni: Vincent SA ’69, Steven ’71 and Daniel ’78.
David is a member of St. Clement of Rome Parish in Metairie where he served as Chairman of the Parish Finance Council, as a school board member and Associate General Parish Chair for the Archbishop Hannan Archdiocesan Capital Campaign.
David has been married for 31 years to Nancy Murphy Glaviano. Nancy is a graduate of Dominican High School and University of Southwestern Louisiana. She holds a M.Ed. in Counseling from University of New Orleans and currently practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Metairie, Louisiana. They have two sons, Brad ’98 and Matthew ’03. Brad holds a B.S. Degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University, and is currently a top marketing representative with G & K Services, a distributor of uniforms and business products in Houston. Matthew is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi residing in New Orleans, and is an award-winning sales representative for Health Markets Insurance Company.
