The 2012 “Celebration of the Crest”- Brother Martin Extravaganza, sponsored by the Parents Club, was held on Saturday, December 8th at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel. Over 900 Crusader friends partied in grand style, complete with an ice sculpture of the school crest, all to the benefit of the Brother Martin student body. Parents, friends, alumni of St. Aloysius, Cor Jesu, and Brother Martin, as well as faculty and staff enjoyed an evening of great food, drink, music and a selection of over 300 silent and verbal auction items at one the premiere hotels in New Orleans. The Crusader Jazz Band members directed by Mr. Chris Bailey ‘86 performed at the Patron Party, while the Student Ambassadors and Cheerleaders assisted during the main event. The parent Chaircouple for the event was Mia and Scott Corrente ’83 and the Co-Chaircouple was Lisa and Sal Brocato ‘88.
